Hello, I’m PostermanVA

Born and raised in Midwest America, I graduated with a Journalism and Mass Communications degree, with a minor in Performing Arts/Acting and Directing, from Iowa State University. I hope to use the immense skills I learned from the university to get into the voice acting scene, whether that be radio or cartoons, or video games.

Throughout the years I’ve used my vocal gifts as a News Director at a local radio station for multiple years, and more lately in character voice-over on Casting Call Club and numerous projects put together on Discord. From starring roles to background extras, I often have people contacting me for my work, and with a goal to someday work full-time in voice-over, it’s a big help!

I became interested in voice acting because of a handful of voice actors that influenced my childhood. From Tom Kenny to Mark Hamill, I was fascinated that these people could create such a different voice from the ones they talked with. It was almost like they could become a character with only their voice. I’ve done on-stage production before but I feel that voice-over is the closest to creating another universe and stepping into it as we will come. Through numerous projects on Casting Call Club and other places like Backstage, I’ve found lots of communities and people to get to know and enjoy through those worlds they create, it’s my biggest passion.
